Telo Air has a WiFi connection to your internet instead of a hard wired one.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Ooma Telo air can use WiFi to communicate to your router. It can also use an ethernet cable. You could possibly place the Ooma Telo Air in the basement, whereas your router could be in an upstairs bedroom. I personally use a Cat 6 ethernet cable to connect from my Ooma Telo Air to the router because it is easier to setup and gets maximum speed.
