You will be asked to choose a phone number and you will be able to, in settings, forward your calls to your cell. When your cell rings, it will say "To accept this call press 1". That's how you know its an incoming Ooma call and then you can decide if you want to accept it or go to VM.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can't port your cell phone number to Ooma and also keep your cell phone number on your cell phone. But, you can forward your cell phone to the Ooma number. Or, forward your Ooma number to your cell phone. If you are trying to get a phone number to ring at both the Ooma and your cell phone at the same time, you might look into getting a Google Voice number. You can then set up the Google Voice number to ring at multiple numbers at the same time.

You can call Ooma at 1.888.711.6662 . You could get a voice bridge, which allows you to receive landline calls on your mobile.
