Thank you for your interest in the CinemaX D2. Based on your question, the CinemaX D2 is not rated or engineered to be mounted on the ceiling. Optoma Technology can not support this unit or provide throw distance calculations if it is ceiling mounted and Optoma does not have installation mount recommendations.
