I know it can be in front of screen and flipped for rear projection. I’ve heard it can be hung from the ceiling also but don’t see where the mounting would happen
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My understanding is that while it is POSSIBLE to do what you're asking, OPTOMA highly discourages this approach and the warranty may be affected. This is the general opinion from the reading I did on forums, articles, etc. YMMV. Hope this helps. For me, the UST projector sat on a piece of furniture a mere inches from the wall was it's appeal, as I don't have anything installed in a new home(new to me) with a finished basement. Good luck!
