• you can buy active shutter glasses as well as the transmitter that plugs into it. it supports SBS, top/bottom, and a few others.

• Yes it does support 3d. I have a pc with a 3d graphics card. I can play sbs with some cheap DLP Link glasses. And to be honest, I was really impressed. I had to convert Gravity blu ray that I own to sbs overnite, but well worth it. I think I need more equipment for full 3d support, but I'll take sbs any day of the week.
