“If I change the aspect ratio to 4:3 to fit a screen for a golf simulator, is it going to just stretch it out? I'd like to switch back and forth. I don't care if it has the band at top and bottom for movie viewing.”

Dear Optoma Customer, At 4:3 the projector will force the image into the aspect ratio, in this case if you sent content that was 16:9 such as 1080p, the content will be stretched vertically. If you are playing from a computer then simply set your computers output resolution to a 4:3 aspect ratio and leave the projectors setting to auto. This way your computer will handle putting the bars on top and bottom while still maintaining the proper size.
