Yes an iPad is required to use. Not sure what mean by looks like one thing together tho. It’s a starter kit with 5 different learning game pieces that child can do puzzles, math, spelling that show up on screen as child uses pieces on table in front of iPad, gives hints on correct pieces to use if they get wrong and points when they get right also drawing can buy a pad separately or child can just use a piece of paper anything they draw on the paper shows up on the screen and can be saved. It’s a neat starter pack. Can add to it too for more games.
