“my ipad was in this otterbox & i had set on couch & as i turned around it had fallen the couple feet to the floor & 2 of the 4 edges have broken off the cover. i assume this would be covered under limited lifetime warranty since normal use? ideas? thx!”

I would contact either best buy where you bought it from, their customer service number, or otterbox themselves for more information on how they can help you.
