“Is it possible to remove the clear protective screen, and still use the phone?”

• Yes. It comes off easily. You can even add a glass screen protector if desired. Do not believe the answer that says you will eliminate the waterproof feature. The Defender was NEVER waterproof to begin with.

• Yes. You can remove it quite easily. With the phone out of the case, just run a fingernail along the edge of the screen protector and it should pop out it will on longer be waterproof and void any warranty but you can do it. I would not recommend it.
