Yes, dakotaj, just lay the phone on it where the back can touch the pad. Make sure the light on the charge pad is steady and not flashing. If the light is flashing, the connection is not good, so just move it around a little until it connects.

I just put an OtterBox Defender case on my new Galaxy S8 and am charging it with one of the Samsung Fast Charge Wireless charging stands with no issues.
