Will this OtterBox Defender case for the Galaxy S8+ be able to be used on a wireless charging pad or is the case too thick? null

I use the defender on my S8+ and it charges fine on the Samsung wireless fast charger.

No it does not charge well. First you have to remove it from the clip. Then you have to find a good position for the charging light to come on, Most times it will come on for a while then loose contact. and shut off. Getting ready to scrap the charger and just use the charger with cable.

I have put mine on the wireless charger I got for my S6 and the S8 plus is charging on it also, S8 plus defender case is actually thinner than the defender I had on my S6

It works well. I have a legacy Samsung charging pad (not the new fast charge model) and it charges properly though the OtterBox Defender with no issues.

I was stoked by when i bought this item otter box defender for S8 plus, but when i put it on the wireless charger found out it didnt work well, the only way i could charge my phone on the new wireless changer was by lay it down only, when i tried to estand up my phone it just didnt charge, i think is because the defender is too bulky

I put my S8 plus, with the defender case on it,on my wireless charging pad I bought for my S6 and it seems to be charging fine. This defender case is actually thinner than the S6 case.

My Galaxy S6 did charge with the Otter Box Defender case and the wireless charger. The change was slightly slower with the skin, but was still a quick charge.
