yes it is made by ZAGG. The Armor will work with out the Otter Cover.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, Otterbox does make a screen protector for the S9. The case does not come with a screen protector as the screen is curved at the edges. The screen protector is tempered glass and works with the case. The most important thing to know about the screen protector is the after installation the phone must sit undisturbed for 8 hours to allow the adhesive to fully cure. If you do not follow this step you will have the issues that many folks have reported in their reviews.

I tried a couple different screen protectors when I purchased my Galaxy S9+ but I wasn't satisfied with any of them. The curved screen on newer Samsung Galaxy phones makes it difficult for a screen protector to adhere to the screen and stay in place. I've had my phone for about six months without a screen protector and my screen is in pristine condition. The Otterbox case seems to provide enough protection that a screen protector is unnecessary.
