The cover over the charging outlet pivots open easily when charging, staying attached, and then snapping closed after disconnecting the charger. I used a previous one for three years without it tearing off. The covers on the buttons do not come off. You can easily press them to change volume and take screenshots.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a little hinged rubber cover over where you plug it in. My last phone had this same case and it did wear out at hinge and come off. Can’t remember how long before that happened as case was for IPhone 7, so had it many years. Had no problems with phone after it came off, but is annoying with such an expensive case. Would guess it probably was off for 2 or 3 years. Hope they have improved this newer case with a more durable material or something.
