“What is this “cover” over the outlets?. How do you open? Mwill they tear over use?”

1. The purpose of cover over the port is to keep dust and moisture out. 2. To open it, just lift from the bottom. 3. The cover is very durable. I have never known one to tear over use.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.There is a little hinged rubber cover over where you plug it in. My last phone had this same case and it did wear out at hinge and come off. Can’t remember how long before that happened as case was for IPhone 7, so had it many years. Had no problems with phone after it came off, but is annoying with such an expensive case. Would guess it probably was off for 2 or 3 years. Hope they have improved this newer case with a more durable material or something.
