There is a separate product you can purchase to cover the screen. I got one of my Samsung S8+ but it just fell off after a while. I really never needed it and my screen is fine. If you do drop your phone the screen never touches the ground or surface due to the OtterBox edge.

No, Otterbox stopped including the integrated screen protector. I believe that the s7 was the last in the Samsung S series to include the built-in screen protector.

I bought the phone and otter box for my daughter on 8/1/19. Due to difficulties activating the phone, she hadn't yet installed a screen protector. The Samsung rep at Best Buy recommended Armor Edge Protective Glass, but in reading other reviews, glass screen protectors are not recommended. We were still researching for the best product due to conflicting information provided to us.

There is no cover for the screen included with this case. Tempered glass and flexi plastic are available aftermarket. I got a 2 pack of tempered off Amazon.
