“Will the Square merchant credit card adapter work with this case (it doesn't work with the Otter Box on my phone because the space is not large enough for the adapter to fully plug in to the headphone slot)”

Yes it will work. The opening is decent in size.

Hello! yes, this case is compatible with the Square merchant credit card adapter....you should be fine and dandy like sour candy!.....oooooook ill leave now

I doubt that it will fit. The headphone slot is offset about 1/8" below the case. Because of this adapter would not fit flush.
