Each camera has a QR code so you could buy one and keep it and then give the other one to your parents to use on separate ring plans. I also know that you can connect them to Alexa, as well as share permissions on who can see the footage from the cameras. In other words, I share all of my access of the cameras I have outdoors with each of my children and the cameras I have inside my house. I only unable to see for privacy.

You can give one of your Ring cameras to your parents to use with their own Ring Protect plan. Ring devices are not permanently locked to a single account. To do this, you would first remove the camera from your Ring account through the device settings in the Ring app, then your parents can set it up as a new device on their own account. Once added to their account, they just need to make sure their current plan covers multiple devices. If they are on a Solo plan, which only covers one device, they would need to upgrade to a Ring Multi or Ring Pro plan to cover additional cameras.
