• Yes code everywhere in the US requires a dedicated outlet for microwaves.

• yes .it uses a standard 3 prong 110v outlet

• You will most likely need to check with Best Buy. Unless they have a direct way to plug this in, I do not expect they will install it for you. The gentlemen who installed us were not licensed electricians and we were told you need to have an outlet available. Good Luck.
