Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you're referring to the pot, I haven't used it because I only use my Yeti mug. If referring to the fill chamber, I always leave the cover up and open for a couple hours to dry. Also, I only use water from a 5 gallon water cooler and use the coffee maker almost every day, so there is no chance for water to remain and possibly create an unsanitary condition. BTW, because of it's unique water dispensing cycle, it consistently makes the best coffee and is the best coffeemaker I've owned. Good luck.
