A:AnswerYou would need this interface to retain all the factory warning chimes and provide accessory power to the aftermarket radio, even if the truck is not equipped with OnStar, steering wheel controls, or a factory amp.
A:AnswerYou will still need it to provide warning chimes and accessory power to your aftermarket radio. All that is done thru data communication to the factory headunit, and this module provides all that as well in your vehicle application
A:AnswerIt states '06 and up but it may be similar. Best bet is to ask the manufacturer. It does work pretty well but it's a pain to get it to cycle thru presets as opposed to next channel. Factory XM will not work with it so you will need to get another tuner ($70) and it will work fine. There is a way to get the factory mic to work thru the radio- I'm in the process of splicing in the wiring from the deck to the truck circuit which is on the passenger side of the dash
A:AnswerThe harness you would need for your 2015 Silverado would be the RP5-GM51. https://www.bestbuy.com/site/pac-all-in-one-radio-replacement-and-steering-wheel-control-interface-for-select-gm-vehicles-multi/7151124.p?skuId=7151124
