I placed a aragon 4004 on top of mine. I just made sure each device has it's own shelf. So if you want to place the amp directly on the panamax I'd say absolutely not.

Please try again later.Niles isn't totally forthcoming about the amplifier technology they're using except to call it "digital" which if this is a class D amp is a misnomer but I think it probably doesn't generate a lot of heat so the Aircom may be redundant. As for the Panamax it doesn't generate any heat at all and has a very sturdy enclosure and if the base dimensions of each component are about the same you could stack them. I would look at an alternative though because as a general rule stacking components on top of each other is not a recommended practice for ventilation purposes and given adequate space between them you probably could forget about the Aircom. How about putting that money towards a better equipment rack?
