“I can't find anything about appropriate cookware. Can you use metal cookware in this unit when you are air frying and glass when you are microwaving? The local BestBuy guy said "Sure you can." but I don't think he was terribly knowledgeable.”

Metal cookware can only be used for Broil and Convection. You can use oven glassware & ceramic for Microwave mode. For Airfry mode you need to use the Airfry basket on wire rack on enamel tray.
