“I unplug all my electrics when they are not in use. Date and time on an oven or stove are of no interest to me. But there is talk of setting this oven up. I don't want to set it up. Can't I just plug it in and use it?”

• we lost power and we decided to set the time but nothing else was needed to cook. hope that helps. easy set up there really is not any :)
