The oven must be placed on a flat, stable surface, which is more than 36 inches (91.6 cm) height from the ground. Place the front surface of the door 3 inches (7.6 cm) or more from the counter top edge to avoid accidental tipping of the microwave oven during normal use. For proper operation, the oven must have sufficient air flow. Allow 6 inches (15 cm) of space on the top of the oven, 4 inches (10 cm) at back and 2 inches (5 cm) on both sides. If one side of the oven is placed flush to a wall, the other side or top must not be blocked. Do not place oven near a hot, damp surface such as a gas or electric range, or dishwasher.
