• Definitely need some space on both sides for air vents on each side. Mine is also in built in unit 32 inches width works well.

• Hello! This model can be built in a cabinet by using the compatible trim kit. The cabinet opening requirements are 23 5⁄8” x 15 9⁄16” x 21”. -M
