“I plan to install this microwave into a 30" cabinet with 22.25" interior depth. The opening of the cabinet is 27" x 15 3/4". Would there be enough space to vent this microwave if I use a trim kit? What trim kit model do you recommend?”

I believe your problem will be that the 30 inch trim kits are not available and no one knows when/if they will become available. I had to make my opening like a “shelf” leaving sufficient room for venting per the Panasonic instructions. The microwave works well, is convenient, and all required dimensions for “built in” installation can be found on line.
