• We purchased a custom trim kit from Micro Trim and it looks great and cost much less than the Panasonic kits! Plus they are made in the US. Their number is 1-800-338-8746.

• I had my cabinet guy make a trim kit that matches my cabinets and looks nicer than the trim kits that come with microwaves. It's very simple, like a frame with vent slots. Probably not very helpful.

• It has a left side vent to exhaust heat. You cannot install with a trim kit without appropriate ventilation for this side vent.
