You can easily fit your 13 x 8 pyrex dish in this.

Turntable: 16" diameter

Inside: 18" deep, 18" across and 11" high

Don't know about cooking without the turntable although you get better results when the food is turning.

Yes a 13x8 dish will fit in side, it would work without the turn table but no need to take it out as your dish will not hit the sides of the wall. Don't know the true dimensions.

13 x 8 will fit with room to spare---rotating glass dish inside micro is 16 & 1/2 inches round, with 10 inches in height available---this thing is HUGE....

Yes, a 13x8 Pyrex will fit even with the turntable. You could use it without the turntable but, I don't see why anyone would want to. The center hub still turns even if glass turntable is removed. Inside dimensions are approximately L 17.5 W 17.5 H 10.25
