“Bought this model 2-years ago now the door is out of line and I have to slam it a few times to get it to work. Husband has tried to adjust it many times but still is a pain to use. Anyone else have this problem.”

No, I have never had that problem. The first one like this that we bought lasted us well over 10 years. As time went on the door shut a little harder, but was never out of line. I bought a second one because the first one was so easy to use, big enough for large dishes, and because we never had a problem with it for all of those years and used it multiple times per day.
