Is there a light inside of this microwave? null

There is a light inside the microwave that comes on when it is cooking or when the door is open. I will tell you though - that when it is cooking - it is difficult to see inside as the glass is relatively dark. It's not much of an issue for us - but, for some who may put in more time than is necessary and just be watching - it may be more relevant.
