QuestionCan a headset be plugged into this phone for use?I work for a call center and a headset is required, so I need to know if a headset can be used with this model phone.

- Answer Hi, KX-TS108W does not have headset jack, you cannot use headset for this model.

QuestionEd again on tone..OK, can you recommend a similar phone with a ringer other than the standard old bell ? White if poss. as it's going in a white kitchen...thx Ed

- Answer Hi Ed, we don't have a newer model which is a corded phone in white color that has different ringer tone feature.

Question..more on ringer soundThanks for your answer: "Hi Ed, It sounds like a standard ringer tone, and the volume can be adjusted too." but by 'standard' do you mean the old fashioned bell or is it a softer more modern ring such as the softened ring on Dect 6.0 phones such as marketed by Radio Shack. Bought a more standard hard wired Radio Shack phone but its bell is too loud and brittle. ??

- Answer Hi Ed, Standard ringer tones sound like a bell. This model does not have a feature to change the ringer tone.

QuestionDoes this phone need to be pluged in to the wall for power?

- Answer No, but the KX-TS108W uses three (3) "AA" Alkaline or Manganese batteries. Batteyr life is about 6 months for Alkaline and approximately 3 months for Manganese. The telephone will still function without batteries except for: the display, speaker phone and the phone's programmable settings.
