Q: QuestionWhat’s the real difference between the Pro batteries and the regular eneloops?

• A:Answer Mah Capacity, longevity, self discharge rate and cost. The pro have higher capacity than the regular Eneloops meaning they last longer on a single charge. This higher capacity comes at the expense of discharge rate and longevity due to the thinner plates used. They are more expensive due to those thinner plates / more material as well. The higher self discharge rate means Pro can only be recharged 500 times instead of 2000+ times compared to regular Eneloops and likely won't last as long as regular Eneloops. Note: Given I have regular Eneloops from 2006 that work 17 years later, you probably won't go wrong with either as long as you take care of the batteries.
