- Answer If ERASE is pressed on the base unit, no verification is required. The Talking Caller ID can be turned off if you do not wish to use the feature.

QuestionI had an older model before and I did not have to dial 1 before area code and number. Purchased this new set and it requires a 1 to dial any number in same area code. Is there a way around this?
