Yes, but it must be plugged in an electrical outlet and in range of the base unit.

In case of an unregistered handset, press MENU on the handset, then press the '#' button and enter code 130. Finally, press and hold [LOCATOR] for approximately 5 seconds, which is located on the base unit. Press OK on the handset when prompted and wait until a long beep sounds. Hope this helps! Please note that the phone system was not tested for this type of usage, only with a landline connection, we encourage you to check directly with the telephone service provider for information. -C
