• Yes Miss QuietLady, the callerID can be disabled. The steps are as follows: MENU, up arrow to Settings, SELECT, down arrow to Talking Caller ID SELECT, highlight Handset or Base unit, select On/Off, SAVE, OFF to return of main screen. I hope this helps.
