“When on a call, does this (or any phone) show me who is calling? I need to see who is calling before asking my first caller to wait while I check on the incoming call.”

This phone not only shows the name or number of who is calling it audibly tells you who or what number is calling. You can listen from another room to hear if it's a call you need to take right away.
