A:AnswerCall block is in the settings of your phone but you only need to do it on one phone since there is only one phone number for all handsets. You can unblock by going into the settings to unblock it or you can dial in and call that number from your phone and that usually works too. It takes maybe 30 seconds total so not too time consuming. A:AnswerYes, you can turn off the ringer by pressing and holding 0 key on each handset until it beeps, on the base unit you need to press and hold (-) volume button until the unit beeps. If the ringer is off, you won't hear when the answering machine answers. The only exception would be if you have call screening turned on and in this case you need to turn it off.
