- Answer Yes, I believe the speaker will still work if the handpiece is not on the base. Haven't really tried it that way.

- Answer The headset jack must be 2.5mm. Please note that not all the headsets are compatible. The compatible headsets for your phone system are KX-TCA93 and KX-TCA430.
