• I’m answering too late for the person asking the question but I want to clarify Panasonic’s answer which really wasn’t a good response. If you’re using unit’s attached answering machine you can’t access from another location BUT if you use voicemail through your phone carrier then YES, you can access messages from anywhere in the US, Canada and maybe other countries.

• I don't really know, but you can look at the user manual online and see. We like the phones though and are happy with our purchase.
