“Can I listen to text messages sent to my linked cell phone on this KX-TGE674B phone, and if so, how?”

• Through Link to Cell you can only get alerts on your Phone System regarding text messages, facebook, twitter, instagram, gmail, google calendar or low battery, you cannot check them using the phone system, you need to use your cell phone.
