• Yes, this kit lens is optically stabilized. Panasonic calls it O.I.S. I can’t believe the doofus answer given by the Panasonic Team here. A simple Yes or no, would have sufficed, but they went on about how the body has built in stabilization, seriously! Hope this helps you and anyone else. The IBIS of the body works really well.

• With the LUMIX G85, a new gyro sensor increases the image stability compensation power of the 5-Axis Body image stabilization to correct hand-shake for all lenses, including classic lenses not equipped with optical image stabilization.
