According to the Basic Owner's Manual this player supports BD region A and DVD region 1.  It states the player does not support PAL.

Hi! The unit cannot playback DVD-Video discs in PAL format. Also, the unit can play back BD-Video discs of the region A code and DVD-Video discs of the region 1 code. Hope this helps! -C
