• Yes, the Panasonic player can connect to the internet via Wi-Fi and hard wired to your home theater receiver. I bought 2 of these Panasonic 4K players, one connected to Wi-Fi and Onkyo 5.1 receiver via HDMI, the second player is hard wired to the modem via ethernet cable, connected to TV and Onkyo 7.2.2 using HDMI cables, and to the cable box with an optical cable.

• yes it can and home theater its awesome sounds great even if you have a uhd 4k TV it looks and sounds greasy I love it definitely worth the the money....
