“Is this unit capable of converting DTS signals to Dolby Digital 5.1?”

• When “BD-Video Secondary Audio” is set to “On”, the audio will be output as Dolby Digital, DTS Digital SurroundTM or 5.1ch PCM. However, when playing BD-Video without secondary audio or navigation sounds, the audio is output as the original format.*2The audio output is amplified from 5.1ch or 6.1ch to 7.1ch depending on the DTS, Inc. specifications.

• I do not believe so. I seem to recall that I had a Samsung Blu-ray player years ago (maybe the F7500) that would do this.
