• Of course. Connect the HDMI through a 4K compatible AV receiver, and you got audio to external surround sound system.

• The player has two HDMI outputs - one for audio and video and the other for audio only. The audio-only HDMI output can be connected to an AV receiver, which will process the audio signals and output them to the connected speakers.
