“I currently have Optimum Cablevision and a Samsung 4K tv. Will this work with my new tv. Also will I have to puchase the wire to hook from the DVD player into my HDMI television port?”

Yes, this 4K player will work with your 4K TV by connecting with an HDMI cable. Not sure what your Cablevision has to do with the Panasonic 4K player unless they also provide your internet. If they do, the player can connect to the internet via Wi-Fi or hard wired via ethernet to your modem and stream 4K content.

Please try again later.Yes this will work great with your Samsung 4K TV I also have a Samsung 4K TV in the picture is just beautiful is so much better than streaming when you are streaming the video and audio are compressed when you watching it on the disc you’re getting a full uncompressed movie which gives a better picture quality and a lot better sound quality And yes you will need to purchase an HDMI cable I recommend the Belkin 48 GB per second HDMI cable Hope this helps you out
