Hi Johnn, thank you for your question! The main differences between the 2 will be: DP-UB820 does not have a digital coaxial output, if you would be interested in that, you can choose the UB9000 as it does have an output like that. The UB9000 also has multiple important ports for extra advantages, for example it has 2 x 3-Pin XLR (Analog Audio) ports, 1 x RCA (7.1-Channel Analog Audio Pre-Out) which is great if you want a 7.1 channel output, and 1 x TOSLINK Optical (Digital Audio) output. The UB9000 definitely comes with more features and ports, but the UB820 is a great choice as well!
