“Does this unit record audio along with the video? Does it have any GPS parts that track your location or speed? Does the battery keep the unit active when you shut-off the car incase you get hit in a parking lot? Thanks.”

yes it records audio and video no gps it is suppose to do that but mine did not the one I got did not work did not charge despite it being charged for 24 hours a waste of money my suggestion go for something cheaper !

And it does have the capability to have gps and speed recording but does not come with the unit you purchase it from their website but it wasn't very pricey I think it was less than $20. And similar to a gps it's best to always have it plugged in while in use but it can run without being plugged in I doubt for very long though, and yes it has that feature where if it detects a bump it will come on and record for 10 seconds.

Please try again later.Yes, it can record audio, you can buy a GPS attachment to go with it, but out of the box it will not record speed, location, etc. There is a small battery that lasts for a little while, but I honestly don't know how long. The battery gauge is not that informative.
