the power supply is simple for the park mode monitoring. to use the dashcam on a normal drive, you will need to plug it into a power source. park mode puts your dashcam on low battery use, and monitors any bumps or force exerted on your vehicle, and when it senses it, the dashcam automatically records using the built in battery that you charged, while the dashcam is plugged in during normal driving.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It does have an internal battery but I keep it plugged in all the time. Similar to a gps it will run without it being plugged in but I doubt it'll operate for a long time. Just keep it plugged in and hide the wires.
