Hi there, that "3-sticks" may be in error, as it would be impossible to install more sticks than available slots :) 12G configurations are typically 8+4. The max supported by this all in one is 32G. Replacing them is not as complicated as a laptop, but I would strongly recommend reaching out to Geek Squad services provided by BestBuy to assist you with this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The HP Pavilion-24-i5 only comes with 2 memory sticks. The configured memory is 12 GB meaning you have an 8GB stick and a 4GB stick. Max memory is 8GB. You need only to swap out the 4GB stick with an 8GB stick to reach max memory. If in fact you have 3 sticks, each is 4GB but I can't see where the 3rd stick can be used in the machine. For the best answer, you should probably contact HP Support.
