It is a little faster but it is not something that would STOP me from purchasing the computer.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is not a requirement for either type, and is truly more a matter of personal preference! HDDs are often a bit cheaper per gigabyte of storage compared to SSDs because SSDs are more compact, and do not feature moving parts (HDDs are composed of a disk and an arm that writes data onto the surface, similar to how records are designed). HDDs are often more susceptible to wearing down and being corrupted over time, but SSDs are not perfect in their design either--because of their compact, stationary composition, they require consistent power through use of the laptop or desktop. A SSD that's been sitting without power too long can effectively lose the data written into it. So while SSDs are definitely faster, and typically more secure than HDDs, there are still flaws to this preferred system. Either option is going to be able to safely store your content, and most models with HDDs are still comparable in their speed and performance. While this all in one would be a bit faster with a SSD, you won't experience any noticeable slowness as a result of the HDD. Hope this helps!!
